Transformers
Dry Type Transformers
Dry type transformers vary from normal transformers in terms of insulation. The windings and core of the Dry Type transformer are sealed with pressurized air rather than insulating liquid.
Furnace Transformers
Furnace transformers are primarily used wherever there are high current requirements, such as steel and cement industries. A Furnace transformer supplies power to the furnace and is able to lower the high voltage capacity to lower voltage output.
Rectifier Transformers
Also known as converter transformers, these have one of their windings connected to converter circuits(To convert AC to DC). They are specially made transformers which have application in industries requiring great amounts of DC Current.
Welding Transformers
Arc welding requires high AC Current, while maintaining low voltage. A welding transformer is a step down transformer that has thin primary winding with a large number of turns and its secondary has more area of cross-section and less number of turns ensuring less voltage and very high current in the secondary.
Voltage Stabilizers
A Voltage Stabilizer stabilizes the voltage if there is any fluctuation. It also brings the voltage down to the desired range suitable for the appliance.
